A little background info

Kat Rowlands
Health wasn’t something I discovered as an adult — it was the air I breathed growing up. Raised in a home where food was medicine and movement was joy, I learned early on that the body has a remarkable capacity to heal itself, and come back stronger. That belief has never left me. It’s the foundation of everything I do today as a health coach ( personal trainer, yoga instructor, holistic cook, and movement specialist).
My relationship with movement runs deep — distance running, half Ironmans, weightlifting, yoga, Pilates, mountain climbing, you name it, I do it. But my most important education came through my own body’s challenges. I’ve navigated endometriosis, degenerative disc disease, a grade 3 bladder prolapse, and two meniscus injuries — every time choosing to research, move with intention, and find a natural way to heal, and come back stronger. The day that was scheduled as my surgical consultation for the prolapse, my doctor cleared me to run a marathon instead. That’s not luck. That’s what happens when you understand, respect, and work WITH your body.
These experiences are the reason I do this work. I know what it feels like to be in pain, to be exhausted and feel defeated. To be handed band-aid solutions that don’t treat the root of the issue. To have to advocate for yourself. I also know what it feels like to find freedom on the other side of those challenges. To navigate the trials of life and come back stronger and wiser
To live my life without fear and limitation.
Over the years I’ve worked with people new to exercise, both young and experienced athletes, people navigating injury and illness, and people chasing goals they hadn’t quite reached yet. Every experience has confirmed what I believe at my core: when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood, they start to believe in their own power — and that’s when real change happens. I left a 17-year career in Finance to build this one, because this is who I am and how I live.
I’m here to help empower you to become your most badass self. That’s the work. That’s what fills my cup.
